The Tattooist of Auschwitz by Heather Morris
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A very compelling book, based on a true story of
a young man who met his true love in the concentration camps of World
War II. Lale is assigned to be a tattooist because of his knowledge of
so many languages. They end up spending more than two years there but
finally are able to escape and find each other. It's a difficult book to
read but I wanted to be aware of the horrors that the individuals
experienced and their massive loss of families and friends.
