This is a very comprehensive travel guide designed for the individual(s) visiting Boston. It is crammed with useful information – hotel and restaurant recommendations, sights to see, activities, museum, cultural life, shopping, and much more. There’s a nice introduction giving a history and overview of Boston, along with helpful hints for the traveler trying to plan their trip. Then it’s arranged geographically with lots of maps and information, plus a snapshot of each neighborhood. Each entry gives the phone number, website, approximate pricing, and the subway stop.
We have been relying on the Fodor’s family of travel guides for more than 40 years, and this one did not disappoint! There’s a helpful index in the back that is very extensive. Additional information is always available on the Fodor’s website – https://www.fodors.com. I would highly recommend this and any of the other Fodor’s travel guides. I have the 33rd edition, 2025.
